Each destination will have special activities and events inspired by the Five Elements of Happiness and designed with you in mind. We look forward to sharing this momentous occasion and celebrating the years to come.
For forty years, we have been making people happy. We believe happiness and wonderful vacations come from the Five Elements of Happiness: Renewal, Connection, Culture, Nature and Attention. For our 40th anniversary, we have created special activities inspired by these five elements to help you have the happiest vacation experiences.
Born in France in 1935, Gérard Economos studied architecture and urban planning at the School of Fine Arts in Paris.
He launched his career as a painter in 1953 and has been actively traveling and performing ever since.
In 2005, the French government awarded him the highest distinction in France, the “Legion d’Honeur” medal.
His work has been displayed in the best galleries and museums around Europe, the United States, Asia and Latin America. His paintings and murals embellish important financial institutions and also the main entrance to Paris’ Town Hall. Gérard is best known for his amazing, large-scale murals created in front of audiences and choreographed to live music.
Hailed as Canada’s national treasure, The Tenors are an amazing vocal quarter that performs operatic pop music. Since their best-selling debut album in 2008, they have released two albums including Lead With Your Heart, which featured the single, “I Believe”.
The group’s performance highlights include: The Oprah Winfrey Show with Celine Dion, Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Emmy Awards and the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. In 2013, The Tenors won the Juno Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the year.
These four men with their amazing talent and incredible voices create rich harmonies and powerful songs. Their backgrounds differ, which allows their music to be a balanced mix of world music, pop, opera and folk. “Our music always comes from our hearts and reflects our lives, allowing our sensibilities and our life experiences to shine through,” says Fraser Walter.
The Tenors make every performance special and are lead by advice a director once shared, ‘At every show, there’s someone out there for which this may be their first and someone out there for what may be the last time. So always be there for them and make it special.’
